Expert on Loan, BILT
Congkun Yang joined UNESCO-UNEVOC in January 2024 as an Expert on Loan. He supports the implementation of the Bridging Innovation and Learning in TVET (BILT) project in the areas of research and publications, and assists in the coordination of the BILT Self-Reflection Tool. He is also a member of the UNEVOC Greening Committee – a new team established to implement the UNESCO Environmental Management System (EMS).
Congkun has nearly 20 years of experience in TVET. Prior to joining UNESCO-UNEVOC, he was working at Shenzhen Polytechnic University as the Deputy Director of the International Office. He also worked at the Ministry of Education of China for 2 years, engaged in various UNESCO projects at the Chinese National Commission for UNESCO, and participated in the organization of the first World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference.
Congkun holds a bachelor’s degree in English, a master's degree in business administration and a Ph.D. in management.
